About the Owners

If you are from the area, you have likely seen the owners, Gary and Carol, at local festivals and community events. Their roots run deep as long standing Hampshire County residents. They embrace their home town of Capon Bridge, WV, and are always seeking new opportunities to bring
smiles to the faces of everyone they meet. 

Their Stir Krazy Kettle Korn is the best popcorn/kettle corn hands down. For many years they have fashioned their delicious, lip-smacking kettle corn; the high quality, taste & demand has spoken for itself. With the pursuit of a new endeavor, they are pleased to open their red barn, The Kettle Stop, and continue to offer this mouthwatering treat as well as an array of treasures. Also, for all the ice cream lovers out there, stop by and get your very own Kettle Stop ice cream!

THE KETTLE STOP ICE CREAM

The Kettle Stop’s soft serve ice cream celebrated its first successful season in 2013 and is ready to open its doors this spring of 2014.You will be able to cool down, relax on picnic tables and swings under the shading trees, while enjoying your favorite ice cream during the sweltering sun-filled days. Sundaes and milkshakes such as the Cacapon Mud and the Kettle Korn Sundae are exclusive to the Kettle Stop. With distinctive & creative combinations, the Kettle Stop is by far the best ice cream stand this side of the county. They also offer refreshments including: sodas, water, floats, cakes and other goodies. (Menu to come)
